Hina Khan Spotted At Mumbai Airport As She Returns From Kashmir Amidst News Of Her Father's Demise

Earlier in the day, reports of Hina Khan's father's demise made headlines. As reported, he died after suffering a cardiac arrest at home. The actress was in Kashmir complying with her work commitments. Upon the sudden news, the Bigg Boss 11 contestant returned to the city. She was spotted at Mumbai airport by the shutterbugs. The actress was seen in a white and blue jumpsuit which she paired with a denim jacket.

Hina Khan was sporting glasses and she immediately made way to her car. The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress shared a very close bond with her father. Often she made social media posts talking about the bond she shared with her parents. As the news of her father's demise hit headlines, many of her friends extended their condolences. Bigg Boss 14 contestant Eijaz Khan took to Twitter and wrote, "sorry for your loss Hina. Inna lilla hi wa inna ilayihi rajioon. Khuda unko jannat naseeb farmaaye. .@eyehinakhan."

Nikki Tamboli wrote, "I was so sorry to hear about your father’s passing. I know this is a very sad and difficult time for you and your family. No matter wherever he is, he’ll always be watching over you. He will stay with you forever. My deepest condolence to you and your family. @eyehinakhan."


In an interview with Etimes, Hina Khan had earlier revealed how her father used to support her no matter what. She said, "My father has been my partner in crime in whatever decisions I have taken in life. In the future also whatever I will do or now whatever I am doing, I am going to share it with my father. I take my father in favour first and when my mom gets angry I put the entire blame on my father (laughs). He gets shocked and gets all the scolding from my mom. I have always been my dad's princess. Even during Bigg Boss 11, it was written behind my bed 'Daddy's Girl' and that I have been since childhood."
